A Freshman's Adventure Musical Update & Stuff regarding Chapters 2 & 3!

Is "A Freshman's Adventure" too boring for you? Yeah, I understand... There's something missing. It's too... Quiet. There are no background music that plays while you're exploring, battling, etc. Also no satisfying sound effects that play when you attack someone, get hurt, land a critical attack, etc. Well... Don't worry! Because this update is all about music and sounds! Introducing... A Freshman's Adventure, the musical update! This update provides SFX and funky beats to listen to while beatin' up Tumbleweeds! Most of the music was actually composed by me, but some were composed by a user called K-Man. He originally composed it for a cancelled game called "Dataworld" by someone else, but I didn't want most of the funky beats to go to waste, I also asked for permission to use his music and he said yes! Anyway here is the full changelog

Changelog

• Added background music and SFX to the game
• Fixed a bug on the MacOS version where every time you load your save, it'll say it's on a newer version
• Fixed a small goof where on the menu for changing nerd's info, it will say "[Scientist's name] the Nerd" instead
• Added a credits menu, crediting the work of other people who contributed to the project
• Added dynamic background colors that change depending on which area you're at
• Once Dark Shane is defeated, he's no longer mentioned in any of the levels you go to. Everyone forgot about him, after all!
• The settings menu now provides options for bold text, text size, and changing the volume
• You can now press escape in-game to exit to title menu without saving

Stuff regarding Chapters 2 & 3

As you may know, the title also included "Stuff regarding Chapters 2 & 3" Yeah... I'm actually planning on releasing both Chapters 2 & 3 together! Admittedly, Chapters 2 & 3 aren't going to be as long as Chapter 1 was, so I thought maybe it would be better to release those chapters together. I also plan on releasing the game on Steam once I do finish Chapters 2 & 3. And if you're wondering if the rest of the chapters will also be free, well, no... Chapter 1 will be the only free chapter. After that, I plan on releasing the rest of the chapters at a price, I don't know what price at the moment, but as I work more on the game I'll have more of a clue. If you do want to support A Freshman's Adventure though, I plan on releasing the soundtrack later which will cost a bit, you can also support me by choosing to donate money when you download the game.
